Flowers
Reply:clear the area of any weeds and then dig over wait a couple of weeks to let the earth break down and then dig over again and then finally rake making sure you take the weeds out each time
Reply:dig the garden well over mix in some compost if you have any if not use chicken pellets or fish and bone meal from garden centers when mixed in well rake level and leave till ready for planting
Reply:if you already have a garden tilled up,then your 3/4 the way there.there are several brands of fertilizer made just for flowers.the miracle grow brand is the best. make sure to soften the ground ,remove some existing soil then mix the fertilizer in the garden about 40 % fertilizer and then plant. the fertilizer has plenty of nutrients and other proper minerals so don't add anything else .
Reply:if you are planting bulbs then you will def want to work the ground up remove the sod and make sure the ground is ferilized. you may also want to put a weed guard down to keep the weeds from comming up in the flower patch.
Reply:hi flower, you cant do much yet as the ground is to hard,at the beginning of march did it all over you need to go down at lest 6inches then all you need is to add manure too the soil its gonna stink but its worth it,mix it all together with a rake and plant away.oh and before you start get a soil sampler from a garden centre and test your soil type and stick to appropriate plants.
Reply:With the very hot spells of weather coming now it would be best to consider a garden with a Mediterranean touch. Plenty of plants that enjoy heat and dry earth. Pavings and gravel surround will keep things easier to maintain. Grass will only dry up!
Lavenders and silver leaf plants plus pinks and geraniums are a good and fragrant start. Try an olive tree or two. Spanish broom looks good. Good Luck!
Reply:It kind of depends on the flowers. Ask your nursery person when you go shop for the plants.www.poetry.com
