Flowering plants...?

hello fellow, im here in colorado springs and it still winter time i want to have a garden please tell me which plant that is easy to take care and grow that bears flower nice for the backyard garden thank ang God bless you..

Reply:Purple coneflower is a nice perennial... long bloom season,drought tollerant once established, it naturalizes well and added bonus that butterflies like the flowers and birds will eat the seeds in the fall/winter.
Reply:I would wait until the soil to thoroughly warm up before planting in the backyard. A native flower mix is very nice, and very low-maintenance. Just prep soil, scatter seeds and water, and you've got a nice variety with a long bloom time.c++
