Do you know any plants that grow QUICKLY!!?

Hi,

I really need to know some plants that grow quickly because I am doing a science fair project with my friend Becky and we need some different plants(Food plants, flower plants or not) and the time it would take. We only have 7 weeks (May 23) to grow something.

Thanks! :)

Reply:Those little bamboo plants. You can find them in plant stores, pet stores, or those specialty stores (maybe in your local mall?). Sometimes they grow in a corkscrew pattern, im sure you have seen them sometime.

Not only do they grow quick, they can grow in just water, rocks and water, or dirt. Also, you can cut them in half and stick the extra in water and it will grow roots and grow. So its a double bonus, unlimited bamboo and quick growing. Check it out
Reply:You might try some tomato plants. They usually grow pretty fast once they pop through the soil. Just buy a pack of seeds and follow directions. Be sure and read the back of the seed packet because I don't think you want the kind that you would have to stake up. Good luck!!
Reply:plenty of herbs and even some veges grow very fast. most within a week or two.

also, pansies are in season now, as well as morning glory and phlox.

Reply:bean sprouts. put some of 'em on top of a layer of gauze in a container. add water (but not too much till they float) and leave in the sun. i think they grow to maximum height in about 5 days
Reply:Bamboo apparently grows very quickly.
Reply:Carolina Jasmine.

Maybe too big, though.
Reply:Do a leaf lettuce mix. In 7 weeks you'll be eating saladsyahoo finance
