When is the best time to plant flowers?

After all danger of frost has past your area you can plant any kind of flower or plant outside. Put in new plants that have already been hardened to the outdoors (those grown indoors need to be moved outside slowly acclimatizing to the weather, sun and cool nights). You can plant them at any time of day once they are fully adjusted to the outdoors.

Please include: type of flower (different flowers should be planted in different seasons) and what zone you live in.
