I live in California, and I want to plant flowers right now. What flowers would grow best for the summer?

Icelandic poppies are lovely.


Also, geraniums etc. are easy. what part of CA depends on what you should plant. I'd look at the palce you want to plant and then maybe get some ideas from the Sunset Western Garden Book. It has great pictures and growing instructiins etc, They even have sample gardens with plans as I remember!

Reply:Look up your temperate zone via the net, then look at the plant that will go based on the temp restrictions on the tags of the plants you buy. A good source of reference would be the local university extention service.make up
