How do i keep my dogs off my new plants and borders?

i am trying to plant flowers and plants in my garden but my dogs are trampling all over them can anyone offer any solutions to keep dogs away i've tried scatter pellets but they didn,t work
Say
FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy FlowersChicken wire. Lay on ground in front of access areas. Most animals do not like walking on it, yet plants grow through it and easy to roll up to mow. Or perhaps put up a fence. You will have to keep after the dogs to let them know they are not welcome in that area.
Reply:you need a ratel.. also known as the african honey badger. that should do it.

not sure where you would get such a creature.. but it would keep those dogs out of the flowers.
Reply:Put something in there way!!

Maybe a piece of fence...like chicken wire....Anything you can think of ......screen....Fix something that's not on your flowers.....Put it up when your done working in the beds.......anything that will bother them when they see it in there way...they'll go somewhere else to lay down....You shouldn't have to leave it long...just till they get the ideal they can't lay there any more

They get in there because the ground is cool there when they are warm or hot!!....Do you have another spot where they can lay down at that won't bother you and your flowers??
Reply:Someone told me to put a 3 foot wide sprinkling of moth crystals--like crushed up moth balls--on my yard to keep the neighborhood dogs away from my plants. I haven't tried it yet,

although I have put out some red cayenne pepper ( I had some of that in the house; need to hit the market for the moth crystals.)

Good Luck!
Reply:teach him. dogs have their own minds. it only takes time. be responsible enough.
Reply:i put up the little fencing around my plants that were as tall as her. she showed me how high she could hop.

the only thing that works for me is to be with her and tell her no.visual arts
