Flowers
Reply:Ferns are pretty, they are many colors. Palmetto plants are pretty, they have little berries, but the berries are not good to eat.
Reply:Try a kalanchoe (Ka-Lan-Cho). They don't require a lot of effort %26amp; they seem to do good indoors.
These blooming plants' flowers last for many weeks. The plant grows 8 to 12 inches tall with masses of small four-petaled leaves that are red, orange, coral, gold, yellow and purple. They have thick, waxy leaves with a succulent appearance.
Water when soil feels dry to the touch and drain excess water from tray. Plants can withstand periods of dry soil. Maintain flower color with bright, indirect sunlight daily for at least four hours. Remove dead leaves and spent blossoms. The blooming period usually lasts four to eight weeks.
You can also check out Bromeliads, African Violets, Oxalis (also known as the shamrock plant), Anthuriums, Cyclamen, Primrose, %26amp; Spathiphyllum (the peace lily).
If you google any of these plant names (all colorful, by the way), you should find quite a lot of info to help you get started. Good luck %26amp; may your thumb be green! :-)Shoes
