Why are some flowers important to the life cycle of some plants?

Flowers attract insects and other creatures. When the insect enters the flower (its after the nectar), some pollen from the flower is deposited on the insect. Then when the bug goes to another flower of the same species it fertilizes that plant.

Its called pollinization, and its the plant world's version of sex (reproduction).Shoes
